日本には道行（みちゆき）と呼ばれる独特の表現形式があり、この道行を「築山を中心とした方形渦巻」として取り入れ、家族や訪れた人の記憶に残るふるまいをつくり出した。道中のさまざまな庭の要素との体験によって、生活と庭が密接な関係を持つ空間を作っている。

In Japan, there is a unique expressive form called "michiyuki" (pathway journey). Saito incorporated the michiyuki as a "square spiral centered around a mound" to create behaviors that would remain in the memories of the family and visitors. Through the experience of various garden elements along the journey, a space is created where the lifestyle and the garden are closely connected.
