太宰府天満宮 仮殿
Temporary Hall of Dazaifu Tenmangu
御祭神 菅原道真公を慕い京より一夜にして梅が飛んできたという飛梅伝説に着想を得て、豊かな自然が御本殿前に飛翔し、仮殿としての佇まいを作り上げるこをコンセプトに設計されました。周囲の天神の杜との調和を重んじ、屋根に緑を湛えるという新しくも穏やかで美しい仮殿となります。
Inspired by the legend of the flying plum tree, which tells of plums flying from Kyoto in a single night to honor Sugawara Michizane, the design concept envisions the rich nature soaring in front of the main shrine, creating a temporary sanctuary. Emphasizing harmony with the surrounding Tenjin Forest, the design features a temporary shrine with a green-topped roof, offering a fresh yet gentle and beautiful appearance.

太宰府天満宮を象徴する楠の木と梅の木を基調に、本殿の裏にそびえる天神の森のカシの木、桜、イロハモミジを植える事で周囲の豊かな自然と協調した計画をしています。
The design is based on the symbolic camphor and plum trees of Dazaifu Tenmangu, incorporating oak trees, cherry blossoms, and Japanese maples from the Tenjin Forest that rises behind the main sanctuary.
高木の足元の低木類は在来の品種となり、通年通して参拝される方が多い太宰府天満宮で、新緑、開花、結実、紅葉、落葉と季節度とに違う表情が見れる植栽となっております。
The low shrubs at the base of the tall trees consist of native varieties, designed to offer different seasonal expressions—new leaves, blooming, fruiting, autumn foliage, and leaf fall at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, which is frequented by visitors year-round. These plantings reflect the changing seasons in their full cycle.
土の厚みを最大限薄くした上で勾配をつける事で土の重厚感を感じない「浮遊する森」を実現しています。
By minimizing the thickness of the soil and incorporating a slope, the design achieves a “floating forest” that does not feel weighed down by the heaviness of the soil.
